I am the mom who formulated the Cough and Cold Essential Oil blend advertised on Heritage Hearth.shop.  Years ago, my 7 year-old son had a terrible case of bronchitis.  The continual deep cough wouldn’t let him sleep, and the poor red-eyed little boy was exhausted and weak.  My heart ached for him, and I was frustrated because I was helpless to know what to do for him.  Everything we tried didn’t stop the cough.  In desperation, I opened up some herb and essential oil reference books and made note of everything I could find that was recommended for coughs, bronchitis, and sinus infections.  Then I figured out the proper proportions of each ingredient that I thought would be most beneficial.  I combined them and mixed them with a carrier oil.  The results were amazing!  The very first time I used it on my son, he was able to sleep half the night without coughing his head off.  The one time that he awoke, I applied more of the oil, and he slept the rest of the night.  We all felt better the next morning.   The following night, I only used the oil on him at bedtime, and he slept the entire night.  We used the oil successfully until he was well.   This blend also was effective in stopping coughs in my other children.   I also discovered that this blend was great for aborting a cold, cough, or sore throat before it became  serious.   Apply the oil liberally on the throat, chest, and glands under the chin/jawbone.  May your relief be as amazing as mine!

I was working with wood and cut the tip of my finger off with a saw.  The cut was at an angle, from the end of my finger down into the root of my finger nail.  I cleaned the wound really well, packed it with Dad’s Super Salve, and bandaged it with a non-stick dressing.  I did this twice a day for a couple weeks.  Then maybe once a day for a couple weeks more.  Over time the feeling is coming back into the tip of my finger, and even my finger print is growing back.
